Greystone Manor Estates is located in Pine Knolls Estates , a secluded sunny enclave in a neighborhood that borders a 1500-acre forested ranch. Enjoy the serenity of ancient moss-draped live oaks, wandering herds of black-tailed deer, and laughing woodpeckers at the edge of a rare Monterey pine forest. The Manor is a treat to explore. Built by one of the developers of what was then Cambria Pines and later embellished with castoffs from William Randolph Hearst's San Simeon, the home is a wonderland of attic rooms, regal suites and hidden nooks--grand yet infused with undeniable warmth. Greystone Manor was the hub of the mid-century local art community, home to noted muralist and oil painter Arne Nybak and renowned California watercolorist Phil Paradise as well as the Greystone Gallery. Connect with the natural inspiration that drew artists to gather - to paint together, mix among guests at art showings on the front lawn, and host famous fetes on the estate's spacious grounds.
